Description

Our Ask–Answer Questions (Orally) – Key Details lesson plan teaches students how to ask and answer questions about spoken information. During this lesson, students are asked to practice asking their classmates questions about specific topics (“sunrises and sunsets,” for example) and then answer specific questions (“Think of your last meal. What did you like the best and why?”). Students are also asked to listen to someone speaking on TV, the Internet, radio, or from a video, and both answer questions about the passage given by their parents and ask questions about what they listened to, demonstrating their ability to both ask and answer questions effectively.

At the end of the lesson, students will be able to ask and answer questions about key details in a text read aloud or information presented orally or through other media.
