Description
Our Match Problems with Solutions lesson plan teaches students how to find the proper solution for a problem. During this lesson, students are asked to work cooperatively with a partner to read a passage or article provided by the teacher, identify signal or keywords related to problems and solutions, determine the problem(s) and solutions addressed in the passage or article, and then complete a chart describing and breaking down the problem. Students are also asked to read and match given problems to their solutions, circling all signal or keywords.Â
At the end of the lesson, students will be able to match the problems and solutions of events, ideas, concepts, or information in a nonfiction text or part of a text.
