Description
Our Irregularly Spelled Words lesson plan teaches students how to identify common irregulary-spelled words and spell them correctly. During this lesson, students are asked to participate in a game in which students create a bingo card using words from a given list and then each student takes turns trying to spell a word; if they spell it correctly, it can be marked off on their bingo card. Students are also asked to practice choosing the correctly spelled word from a list of options.
At the end of the lesson, students will be able to recognize, read, and spell grade-appropriate irregularly-spelled words.
