Our Great Lakes Lesson Plan teaches students about the Great Lakes, including their names, where they’re located, and some facts about each. Students practice labeling them on a map and identifying the states that they border.

Description

Our Great Lakes Lesson Plan introduces the Great Lakes and provides students with interactive practice to identify and learn some facts about the Great Lakes. During this lesson, students are asked to use a paper map to label and shade each lake, drawing and labeling the bordering states and Canada as well in order to demonstrate their understanding of the lesson vocabulary. Students are also asked to match facts with the correct Great Lake.

At the end of the lesson, students will be able to identify and list some facts about the Great Lakes.
