Description
Our Observations & Predictions lesson plan introduces to observations and predictions. The lesson also helps students become aware of making inferences, which are often confused with observations. During this lesson, students are asked to list observations, inferences, and/or predictions about a number of given objects, images, or events in order to practice doing so. Students are also asked to tell whether each thing in a given list is related to an Observation, Inference or Prediction, in order to demonstrate their understanding of the lesson material and how to differentiate between them.
At the end of the lesson, students will be able to define observation, prediction, and inference, and identify a difference between each. The students will also be able to make observations, predictions, and inferences.
