Description
Our Glaciers lesson plan introduces students to glaciers including their origins and characteristics. During this lesson plan, students are asked to work with a partner on a project in which they use the Internet to research a number of named glaciers, including as much information about the glacier as possible, including its location, size, and more. Students are also asked to answer questions about glaciers and glaciers vocabulary, including match glacier features to the type of glacier and filling in the blanks in a provided paragraph with the correct words.
At the end of the lesson, students will be able to define glaciers, list their characteristics, and identify a glacier.
