Description
Our Spell Short “u” Words lesson plan teaches students how to spell certain words with a short “u” sound. During this lesson, students are asked to work with a partner to practice spelling the vocabulary words included in this lesson. Students are also asked to listen as their teacher says each of their spelling words and write down each, practicing any they missed with a family member or friend.
At the end of the lesson, students will be able to demonstrate knowledge and application of grade-level phonics and word analysis skills in decoding words through spelling activities.
