Description
Our More About Characters lesson plan teaches students how to better understand a character’s motives and responses to various challenges. During this lesson, students are asked to read a news article and complete a story graph for it along with answering questions, demonstrating their ability to extract the relevant information. Students are also asked to read example paragraphs and determine both the challenge faced and response to that challenge in each story.
At the end of the lesson, students will be able to identify and describe how characters respond to major events in a story and identify and describe how characters respond to challenges in a story.
