Description
Our Explaining Events, Ideas, and More lesson plan teaches students about the similarities and differences between historical, scientific, and technical texts. During this lesson, students are asked to look at example scientific, technical, and historical texts and answer questions about the unique features of each. Students are also asked to read book or article titles and decide if they are from a historical, scientific, or technical text.
At the end of the lesson, students will be able to explain events, procedures, ideas, or concepts in a historical, scientific, or technical text, including what happened and why based on specific information in the text.Â
