Description
Our Triple Letter Blends Spelling Patterns lesson plan introduces students to triple letter blends (such as spl, str, etc.) in order to help them with spelling. They will use a given set of spelling words for this lesson. Students are asked to choose the correct spelling word to fill in a blank in a sentence. Students are also asked to work collaboratively on a fun game called “spelling charades” in which they use charades to try to get their teammate to guess the spelling word, helping familiarize the students with the meanings of the words.
At the end of the lesson, students will be able to correctly identify and use three letter blends to spell words.
