Description

Our Similes lesson plan introduces young students to similes, which most students have used but are not aware there is a term to describe them. Students are encouraged to use their imaginations to create and write similes. During this lesson, students are asked to create sentences using similes and share them with the class, developing their public speaking skills. Students are also asked to use their creativity to draw pictures that match the meaning of the given similes.

The students will be able to define, identify and use similes correctly.
