Description
Our Digital Tools for Writing lesson plan teaches students all about how digital tools can be used when writing. During this lesson, students are asked to work with a partner to retype a passage using a digital tool (a table or computer) and then answer some questions about what it’s like to use a digital tool instead of writing by hand. Students are also asked to look at example text and images and describe which they like best and why; for example, one problem has the same sentence written three times, with one bolded, one italicized, and one underlined.
At the end of the lesson, students will be able to use a variety of digital tools to produce and publish writing, including in collaboration with peers (with guidance/support).
