Description
Our Consonants, Beginning/Ending lesson plan introduces students to beginning and ending consonants and sounds. Students are asked to work collaboratively, in pairs, to create a list of words that can be made from given beginning and ending consonants. They are also asked to identify the correct consonant that goes at the beginning or ending of a given word, testing their understanding of the lesson.
At the end of the lesson, students will be able to isolate and pronounce initial and final sounds in single-syllable words, including the middle vowel sound.
