Description
Our Concluding Opinion Statements lesson plan teaches students how to write better concluding statements for opinions. During this lesson, students are asked to write a short opinion essay without a conclusion; they then receive someone else’s essay and write the conclusion for that essay while a classmate concludes theirs, demonstrating their ability to write effective conclusions for any writing. Students are also asked to read short paragraphs and rewrite their ineffective conclusions.Â
At the end of the lesson, students will be able to provide a concluding statement or section related to their opinion.
