Description
Our Writing Equations lesson plan teaches students how to solve inequalities and equations using substitution. During this lesson, students are asked to draw an equation or inequality from one bag, then draw a value from another bag and then determine if the value is a solution to the equation or inequality or not. Students are also asked to look at inequalities and equations and determine what value satisfies each inequality or equation, demonstrating their understanding of the lesson material.Â
At the end of the lesson, students will be able to understand solving an equation or inequality involves determining the values in a set that make the statement true using substitution.
