Description
Our President of the U.S. lesson plan introduces students to the Presidency and the roles of the President of the United States and enables them to name some of the past Presidents. Stimulate idea sharing and develop expressive communication by engaging students with questions like: what would be some of the things they would do as President of the United States, or what changes would they make in the country. During this lesson, students are asked to play a matching game with another student where they match past Presidents’ face to their names, strengthening their memorization of key Presidents in history. Students are also asked to match given facts to the correct President they describe.
At the end of the lesson, students will be able to define president and identify some of the roles of the President of the United States, and name some of the past Presidents.
