Description
Our Fact and Opinion lesson plan introduce the difference between facts and opinions. During this lesson, students are asked to work collaboratively, with a partner, to complete an activity in which they both answer questions and then decide if those answers are facts or opinions; if they are facts, students are asked to provide evidence and if they are opinions, they are asked to explain why they hold that opinion. Students are also asked to identify if given statements are facts or opinions, demonstrating their understanding of the lesson.
At the end of the lesson, students will be able to define fact and opinion and recognize the difference between facts and opinions.
