Supporting Claims with Credible Resources

$1.95

In this lesson, students will learn how clear reasons and evidence supported by credible sources strengthens an argument. During the lesson, students will be asked to evaluate the credibility of sources and critically analyze how the selection of sources can strengthen or undermine the argument made by a writer.

Description

Welcome to the Supporting Claims with Credible Resources lesson plan! This lesson is designed to help students understand the importance of using credible sources to support their claims.

We live in a world where information is constantly at our fingertips. It’s important that students learn how to discern between credible and non-credible sources, and also how to find evidence to support their own claims. This lesson will walk students through the process of differentiating between types of sources, and then guide them in finding evidence to support their own claims.

By the end of this lesson, students will have a better understanding of how to find and use credible resources when making claims. They’ll also be able to write more persuasive arguments as a result. Thanks for choosing this lesson plan!
