Description
Our Define Words by Category lesson plan teaches students strategies for sorting words into various categories. During this lesson, students are asked to work collaboratively with a partner to put a list of given words into categories of their choosing, demonstrating their ability to sort words and come up with categories that make sense. Students are also asked to complete various activities that involve sorting words on their own.
At the end of the lesson, students will be able to define words by category and key attributes.
