Description
Our U.S. Presidents lesson plan introduces the students to the United States Presidents as of 2017, including a full list of the presidents and their terms. In addition, the lesson gives more information and details about well-known presidents and events through history related to the leaders of the U.S. Some students may be able to memorize the list of presidents, but it is expected that all students at least become aware of the names of each president. During this lesson, students are asked to create a creative and informational poster about an assigned President, which they then present to the class, sharpening their presentation and public speaking skills. Students are also asked to match terms to their definitions, demonstrating their understanding of the lesson vocabulary.
At the end of the lesson, students will be able to share and recite information about the U.S. Presidents and identify several well-known presidents of the United States.
