The Civil War

In our The Civil War lesson plan, students learn about the Cold War, including when and where it took place, the key events and people involved in the conflict, and the underlying causes for the conflict. Students also learn related vocabulary and learn about the lasting impact of the Civil War in the United States and elsewhere.

Our The Civil War lesson plan introduces students to the Civil War, including when and why it was fought, key figures, and related vocabulary. During this lesson, students are asked to unscramble the words to match each of their descriptions, testing their ability to recall key words and phrases from the lesson material. Students are also asked to answer questions about the lesson, demonstrating their understanding of the lesson.

At the end of the lesson, students will be able to identify key people and major battles during the first half of the Civil War.

    The Early Civil War

This module will fit in perfectly with what my class will be doing in social studies after the Christmas break. It provides some extra material that our other module doesn't have. The test at the end is just right for testing the understanding of my students. Clarendon learning provides another fantastic module.
