Description
Our Pyramids lesson plan introduces students to the pyramids, including why and how they were built and their historical significance. During this lesson, students are asked to use their creativity to build and design their own pyramids, including a description of what they would want inside the pyramid to be used to help them survive the afterlife. Students are also asked to answer true/false questions about pyramids in order to test their understanding of the lesson material.
At the end of the lesson, students will be able to identify and describe ancient pyramids, tell how they were built, and explain why they were used.
