Description

Our Laws and Rules lesson plan compares and contrasts rules and laws including the consequences of not following them. During this lesson, students are asked to explore real-world examples of rules and laws, including general consequences for breaking them, grounding the lesson material in reality and illustrating real examples. Students are also asked to read given consequences and decide what rule the boy or girl may have broken, utilizing their critical thinking skills and applying the knowledge they gained from the lesson.

At the end of the lesson, students will be able to define, compare, and contrast rules and laws, plus identify the consequences of not following them.
