Scientific Method

Our Scientific Method lesson plan teaches students about the Scientific Method, including what it is and how and what the steps are. Students practice using the steps of the Scientific Method in a simple experiment and explain why each step is necessary.

Our Scientific Method lesson plan introduces students to the Scientific Method, including its steps and why it’s used. During this lesson, students are asked to walk through each step of the scientific method with an example experiment, focusing especially on their observations and conclusions. Students are also asked to match the statement to the correct Scientific Method step in order to demonstrate their understanding of the lesson material.

At the end of the lesson, students will be able to define, explain, and use the scientific method in a simple experiment.
