Rainforests

In our Rainforests lesson plan, students learn all about rainforests, including the definition of a rainforest and its defining characteristics. Students also learn about the living things, such as plants and animals, that live in rainforests.

Our Rainforests lesson plan presents students with the definition of a rainforest, as well as the characteristics and the living things of a rainforest. During this lesson, students are asked to tell whether given information is about Tropical, Temperate, or Both rainforests in order to demonstrate their ability to differentiate between them. Students are also asked to use their creativity to draw various animals that live in rainforests and present them, including a fact about each animal, to the class, practicing their public speaking and presentation skills.

At the end of the lesson, students will be able to define rainforest, identify characteristics and the living things of a rainforest.

Printing these helped our group to learn about our environment. It was a great resource to share.
