Describe, Classify, Compare Kingdoms

With our Describe, Classify, Compare Kingdoms lesson plan, students learn all about the six kingdoms of life (animal, plant, fungi, protist, eubacteria, and archaebacteria).

Our Describe, Classify, Compare Kingdoms lesson plan teaches students about the six kingdoms of life. During this lesson, students are asked to work collaboratively with a group of their classmates to research one of the six kingdoms and create a poster about the kingdom and an organism that lives in that kingdom. Students are also asked to work independently to compare and contrast different kingdoms, demonstrating their understanding of the lesson material.

At the end of the lesson, students will be able to describe, classify, and compare the basics of the six kingdoms of life: animal, plant, fungi, protist, eubacteria, and archaebacteria.
