Our Story Point of View lesson plan teaches students all about point of view in stories, including what it is, how it’s used, and why it’s important. During this lesson, students are asked to practice reading a given story and determining the point of view, then give supporting information or keywords for their decision. Students are also asked to use their creativity to write a story about what they do before school from two different perspectives, their own and another.
At the end of the lesson, students will be able to describe how a narrator’s or speaker’s point of view influences how events are described.
