Our Reading Comprehension lesson plan introduces students to strategies for better reading comprehension and encourages students to understand context when reading. During this lesson, students are asked to write descriptions of, and answer questions about, images to demonstrate how an image can help enhance comprehension. Students are also asked to read provided passages and answer questions about them in order to test their ability to extract details from text.
At the end of the lesson, students will be able to define reading comprehension and use reading comprehension skills to understand given content.
