Description

Our Point of View lesson plan develops students’ understanding of point of view in writing, including why being able to identify point of view matters. During this lesson, students are asked to use their creative writing and critical thinking skills to write sentences based on several different people’s point of view in a single image. Students are also asked to sort “clue words” into which point of view they indicate in order to demonstrate their understanding of the lesson.

At the end of the lesson, students will be able to define, identify, compare, and contrast the point of view of a story or other reading selection. The students will also be able to write using different points of view.
