Description

Our Order Events in a Story lesson plan teaches students how to recognize the correct order of events in a story and how to put events in order chronologically. During this lesson, students are asked to read stories and then put the plot, printed out of order, in order. Students are also asked to read something on their own and then use a word bank of transition words that they learned during the lesson to write a short, chronological summary of the story they read.

At the end of the lesson, students will be able to order events in a story chronologically.
