Description
Our NASA History lesson plan introduces students to the history of NASA and the space program in the United States. The lesson discusses the origins of NASA and the beginnings of space exploration in the U.S. In addition, the technology of the space program, which has influenced the everyday lives of people throughout the world, are highlighted. During this lesson, students are asked to use their creativity to create a Poster promoting NASA and how its research and developments have helped people throughout the world, such as with its technology and other products. Students are also asked to match the mission to the correct spacecraft, demonstrating their understanding of the lesson material.
At the end of the lesson, students will be able to define NASA, identify the benefits of the space program, and summarize the important events in NASA history.
