Description
Our Mythology lesson plan introduces students to myths, including their origin, their structure, and what their purpose was. During this lesson, students are asked to read myths and then analyze the mythological elements and answer reading comprehension questions. Students are also asked to utilize their creative writing skills to write their own myths and illustrate them with at least 3 drawings, demonstrating their understanding of the lesson.
At the end of the lesson, students will be able to identify the purpose for traditional myths and features of myths, read and analyze myths from a variety of cultures, and write their own myths that include traditional mythological elements.
