Description
Our Critical Thinking lesson plan introduces students to critical thinking skills that will help them with the content they read. More importantly, using critical thinking techniques will help them to make daily decisions, grasp difficult concepts, and reason logically. During this lesson, students are asked to work collaboratively on an activity in which they use critical thinking to decide which items they would salvage from a ship if they were stranded on a desert island, engaging them in a hypothetical situation in which critical thinking is vitally important. Students are also asked to independently answer questions based on hypothetical situations in which critical thinking is necessary.
At the end of the lesson, students will be able to define critical thinking and develop strategies to think logically and reasonably.
