Description
Our Compare/Contrast Authors’ Presentations lesson plan teaches students how to compare and contrast different versions of the same event based on the author’s perspective. During this lesson, students are asked to read a biography of a famous figure and then write a diary entry from the perspective of that person, demonstrating their ability to put themselves in someone else’s shoes while writing. Students are also asked to read provided passages and answer questions comparing and contrasting the two passages.
At the end of the lesson, students will be able to compare and contrast one author’s presentation of events with that of another.
