Description
Our interactive Character Changes Lesson Plan helps students to identify the changes that take place with characters in a story, compare and contrast those changes, make inferences and predict behavior based on the changes to improve reading comprehension and critical thinking. During this lesson, students are asked to read a story, identify a main character, identify several of their traits with evidence from the text, and then write about how this character changed and how their traits changed over the course of the story. Students are also asked to write about how a character might act if they were feeling different emotions.
At the end of the lesson, students will be able to identify the changes that take place with characters in a story, compare and contrast those changes, make inferences, and predict behavior based on the changes.
