Description
Our Measuring Liquid Volume lesson plan teaches students how to measure liquid volume, including the units used. During this lesson, students are asked to complete a “mad scientist” interactive activity in which they fill graduated cylinders with different colored liquids and answer questions about them. Students are also asked to identify proper units for different kinds of measurements and to answer practice questions in order to demonstrate their understanding.
At the end of the lesson, students will be able to measure and estimate liquid volumes using standard units.
