Our Least Common Multiples lesson plan teaches students how to find the least common multiples of two numbers. During this lesson, students are asked to work with a partner and roll two dice, write the numbers they roll down before finding the multiples of each number, circling the common multiples, and finding the least common multiples. Students are also asked to solve practice problems on their own in which they find multiples of various numbers, identify common multiples, and identify the least common multiples.
At the end of the lesson, students will be able to find the least common multiple of two whole numbers less than or equal to 12.
