Description
Our GCF and LCM lesson plan, about Greatest Common Factors and Least Common Multiples, reviews all related vocabulary and offers multiple practice examples for teachers to work through with their students. Students are asked to complete a practical activity that applies the concepts of GCF and LCM to reading and collecting data from calendars. Students are also asked to solve practice problems on their own in order to demonstrate their understanding of the lesson.
At the end of the lesson, students will be able to find the greatest common factor and least common multiple using multiplication facts and prime factorization.
