Our Counting Forward and Backward lesson plan teaches students strategies for counting forward and backward. During this lesson, students are asked to participate in an activity involving number lines in which they draw a number line on the sidewalk with chalk and use it to help them visualize counting forward and backward. Students also practice counting forward and backward from specific numbers given to them by their teacher, demonstrating their understanding of the lesson material.

At the end of the lesson, students will be able to count forward and backward within the range of 120.
