Description
Our Comparing Fractions lesson plan reviews important vocabulary and terms and teaches students to compare fractions using multiple approaches. During this lesson, students are asked to play a fun, interactive game with a partner in which they draw cards to first create fractions and then compare them. Students are also asked to independently complete activities and practice problems in which they compare written fractions, draw models of fractions to help compare them, create equivalent denominators, and more in order to demonstrate their understanding of the lesson.
At the end of the lesson, students will be able to compare fractions.
