Description
Our Classifying Shapes lesson plan teaches students the names and attributes, such as the number of sides and number of angles, of various shapes. During this lesson, students are asked to practice identifying shapes based on their attributes. Students are also asked to answer questions about how to classify shapes, such as “How many vertices does a pentagon have?”.
At the end of the lesson, students will be able to recognize and draw shapes with specific attributes focusing on triangles, quadrilaterals, pentagons, hexagons, and cubes.
