# Adding and Subtracting Fractions Mixed

In our Adding and Subtracting Fractions Mixed lesson plan, students learn how to add and subtract mixed numbers with fractions, whole numbers, and other mixed numbers. Students also learn to include regrouping when necessary and complete practice problems as a part of this lesson.

Our Adding and Subtracting Fractions Mixed lesson plan equips students to add and subtract mixed numbers with fractions, whole numbers, and other mixed numbers, including regrouping when necessary. This interactive lesson engages creativity and leverages peer learning as students create five word problems for another student to solve, then check the solution. Students are also asked to demonstrate their understanding by solving problems.

At the end of the lesson, students will be able to add and subtract mixed numbers with fractions, whole numbers, and other mixed numbers, including regrouping when necessary.

### Adding and Subtracting Fractions Mixed

It was very easy to access the website and print the materials. They will provide the needed practice my students need! It is wonderful to be able to get this curriculum at little or no cost. On a teacher’s salary, this website is truly a blessing for great resources! Dorothy Raab 6th grade teacher
