Our Word Connections lesson plan teaches students about the connections that words can have. During this lesson, students are asked to look at pairs of words (for example, “water” and “boat”) and describe how the two words are connected or related, demonstrating their ability to articulate word connections. Students are also asked to look at three words at a time and determine which two words are connected; they then describe how the two words that they chose are connected.
At the end of the lesson, students will be able to identify real-life connections between words and their use.
