Our Using Recordings and Displays lesson plan teaches students about using recording and displays to enhance understanding of a topic. During this lesson, students are asked to work collaboratively with a partner to research either a topic assigned to them or one they chose themselves; they then create a 5 to 7-minute presentation related to the topic, creating and using one or more recordings/visual displays for a presentation to the class. Students are also asked to read about example presentations or topics and decide which media would be best for that presentation (i.e., a video, recording, or poster).
At the end of the lesson, students will be able to add audio recordings and visual displays to presentations when appropriate to enhance the development of main ideas or themes.
