Description
Our Responding to Comments in Conversations lesson plan teaches students strategies for effectively continuing conversations and building on previous comments in a conversation. During this lesson, students are asked to practice using the skills learned in this lesson by holding a conversation with a group of classmates about a specific topic. Students are also asked to practice choosing the best response to certain questions, demonstrating their ability to identify appropriate responses.
At the end of the lesson, students will be able to build on others’ talk in conversations by responding to the comments of others through multiple exchanges.
