Description
Our Narrative Writing – Fictional Narratives walks students through the process of writing a fictional narrative. Students should consider the purpose of the writing, and what they would need to write a good fictional narrative. During this lesson, students are asked to write their own fictional narrative, working through each step in the writing process, including brainstorming, drafting, and peer editing. Students are also asked to fill in words to complete a chart to describe the key elements of writing fictional narratives, demonstrating their understanding of the lesson material.
At the end of the lesson, students will be able to identify the elements to create a strong fictional narrative and write their own using those elements.
