Description
Our Modal Auxiliary Verbs lesson plan teaches students about modal auxiliary verbs and how to use them in their writing. During this lesson, students are asked to work with a partner and choose modal auxiliary verbs out of a hat and practice using them in a sentence, demonstrating their understanding of how to use these kinds of verbs. Students are also asked to read sentences and fill in the blanks with the modal auxiliary verbs shall, should, will, or would.
At the end of the lesson, students will be able to use modal auxiliaries (e.g., can, may, must) to convey various conditions.
