Description
Our Inferences lesson plan develops critical thinking skills as students will be able to define inference and use context clues from text to make inferences. Students are challenged to identify their evidence when making inferences as they reflect on a time when their logical inference in a real-world scenario was incorrect. Students are asked to collaborate on an assignment in which they make inferences based on images. They are also asked to work independently to further practice making inferences from images or text and explaining the process they used to make that inference.
At the end of the lesson, students will be able to define inference and use context clues from text to make inferences.
