Comparatives/Superlatives

Our Comparatives/Superlatives lesson plan teaches students about comparative and superlative adjectives and how to properly use them. Students practice using these two types of adjectives in their own writing as well as identifying them in other people’s writing.

Our Comparatives/Superlatives lesson plan introduces students to the correct use of superlative and comparative adjectives. Students are asked to work collaboratively, in pairs, to complete an activity in which they use superlative and comapartive adjectives to compare a given list of things. Students are also asked to identify correct adjective usage and practice writing the superlative and comaparative forms of different adjectives.

At the end of the lesson, students will be able to define the terms comparative and superlative and form and use comparative and superlative adjectives correctly.
