What our Weather: Cloudy lesson plan includes

Lesson Objectives and Overview: Weather: Cloudy teaches young learners about clouds. By the end of the lesson, students will recognize signs of cloudy weather and describe what they see in the sky. This lesson is for students in preschool.

COTTON BALL CLOUD ART ACTIVITY

For this activity, students will create words of art using cotton balls. Mix the “glue” beforehand or have students do the mixing for a sensory experience. Teach them how to pull apart cotton balls to simulate wispy clouds versus puffy clouds.

Options and Extensions

As an extension to the lesson, read It Looked Like Spilt Milk by Charles G. Shaw and The Little Cloud by Eric Carle.
